I'm So Excited ! ! ! ! !
I was interviewed by staff writer Alex Froman while at the Lazy Daze of Summer Festival last weekend. He writes for the Grandview, This Week Community Newspaper.

I couldn't figure out how to link the article to my blog so here is my portion of what he wrote about the event.

Among the artists and craftmakers participating in this year's festival was Mary Maben, who designs and sells bags and purses through her Mary Moon Designs business.

"Each bag or purse I make has a one-of-a-kind design," Maben said. "I like experimenting, putting together colors and patterns that don't seem to make sense to people, but actually work well together."

Maben said she enjoys participating in festivals like Lazy Daze because of the chance to meet so many people.

"The most exciting thing to me is when I'm out and see someone carrying one of my bags or purses," she said. "It's so rewarding to think you're making something that people like and use."

More information about Maben's creations is available at marymoondesigns.etsy.com.

Pretty cool, Right ?

I will be back in Grandview this Saturday for The Grandview Hop.
I will be set up by the Arlington Bank from 5p.m. until 9 p.m.
Hope to see you there :o)
